Nigel and Carole welcome you to The Marston Inn.

Situated in the beautiful Oxfordshire village of Marston St Lawrence, The Marston Inn is a real country pub serving Hook Norton beers in

a peaceful traditional setting which dates back to the fifteenth century and was once three farm cottages.

In the civil war the premises were seized by Oliver Cromwell just before the battle of Edgehill and used to raise funds for his army.

Good food is always the order of the day at the Marston Inn. Quality and value are top of the list which keeps customers coming back for more. Our noted Traditional Sunday Lunch with roast potatoes, honey roasted parsnips, Yorkshire pudding and a selection of fresh vegetables covered in a Hooky Ale gravy is a Sunday meal not to be missed. Pre- Booking is more than advisable.

Much of our menu is derived from locally bought vegetables and farm produce. We endeavour where possible, to supply our Kitchen from our own vegetables and herb gardens to ensure freshness and quality.

Children are more than welcome with a large enclosed front garden, ideal for the warm evenings with regular outdoor entertainment and Aunt Sally throughout the summer months. There is also a large camping field at the rear of the Marston Inn, an ideal base for events at Silverstone or a camping holiday with historic Banbury and Oxford nearby. By contrast enjoy the real fire and traditional pub nights throughout the winter.

A magical welcome always awaits you as Nigel is one of the most popular close up magicians in the area with his services often being called upon by other venues for themed evenings.
